Hi again dear folks all over the world !!!

Now this CD is a real treasure of mine. This is my favourite No.1 Piano Recital of all time.  I just made a check at
Amazon (not available) and it doesn't even exist on Deutsche Grammophons's website ! Having been a firm favourite for
over 20 years already and i never get any tired of listening to this - on the contrary, it sounds as fresh and enjoyable
as ever ! Perfect romantic brilliant music for these hot summer days ! But why is this CD so special then ? Choice of
repertoire, the piano sound technically, and above all supreme playing and artistry by Barenboim. He is at his peak/top
form here. Schubert, Liszt and Mendelssohn blend perfectly all together in a recital of such beauty that it is like
composed in Heaven... and played in Heaven too.

And this CD even quite rare then and hard to find anywhere... Enjoy !



Funny trivia:  This CD was published 1985 by Deutsche Grammophon. And it should be dead and buried 3 times already if i
had listened to those false prophets in the 80's. If you were around at those early CD days, then you might remember
that some experts profetized that CD's would last a maximum 7-8 years before going broken and being unplayable from that
time on. Of course they were all wrong and this 24 years old CD was now ripped by me with dBpoweramp (accuraterip turned
on) and it ripped perfectly with no errors of any kind (= it is as good as new then! Or do you english speaking say in
"mint condition"?). Enjoy this fantastic recital with Daniel Barenboim on piano...
